I shiver in the cold,
I check my watch and bite my lip.
You're late.
I stand around outside,
Water drips off my nose,
I shut my eyes and pray.

I can't believe you'd let me down like this,

Don't you know how much pain you caused me?
I kick the lamp post hard,
My leg begins to ache,
Strangely, oh, so soothing,
I hate you more and more.
