A Spring Breeze

A spring breeze
Winters freeze
I lay in bed
trying to mend
The pieces I’ve lost
Because he said
It was lust
Lonely I sit
Trying to forget
The day he told me
Till the end
Independence was never learned
And therefore, I mourn
I long for your touch
The smell of your clothes
The whispers in my ear
And your presence so near
The songs you wrote me
The letters you sent
The flowers you gave me
The pedals I kissed
All I want is a realm for you and I
A place when we can hide
Live a fairytale
And a dream come true.
My heart throbs your name
And I cry the pain
Which is kept inside
From all that is still undefined
A treasure box thrown in the sea
And a coffin buried deep
“Patience is a virtue”
Love was nothing but unseen
Lisette
